WALL THICKNESS MEASURING UNIT （Model no. 1049）
The wall thickness gauge model 1049 enables the measuring of the wall thickness of pipes with high accuracy. The measuring is conducted with a high-precision gauge mounted on the upper arm of the retainer. In addition, a variable counter-weight enables adjustment of the compacting pressure of the lower arm. The height of the retainer is adjustable by a handwheel. Its carriage can be adjusted in longitudinal direction. These features enable measuring of the wall thickness on random points of the pipe sample. The unit comes with an additional fixture to also measure the wall thickness on pipes with smaller diameters. The unit features sample carriers to safely and steadily hold the pipe sample. Integrated rollers enable an easy turning of the pipe around its longitudinal axis.
